2025 guests will be able to enjoy the following planned improvements: a new sixth bedroom with its own full bath, the Starfish bedroom will be remodeled to serve as a combination bedroom and second living room - a perfect youth retreat for gaming or to get away and watch the game! Starting in 2025, "Making Memories" should accommodate up to 28 guests.
From the minute you step into this spectacular home, you will feel as if you have stepped into your own private beach oasis! Your family will be "Making Memories" that last a lifetime! Located in the prestigious gated community of Holden Beach West, you will enjoy the large oceanside swimming pool, featuring a separate, round sitting pool, surrounded by plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas for shade. You will have your toes in the sand in just a matter of minutes using your private beach boardwalk. After your day on the beach wash away the sand and sea in the private outdoor shower, complete with hot & cold water. For added convenience, you will appreciate the 7th bathroom, located on the ground level near the pool. Enjoy dining Al Fresco on the large screened-in porch, complete with a huge outdoor dining table and chairs. You will appreciate the new decking with a gas grill, and a yard large enough to play corn hole or bocce, as well as a huge covered sandbox for the kids to play in!
Professionally decorated with Inspirations of the Sea, you will love the large open-concept living room/dining room/kitchen area, with comfortable furniture including a queen sleeper sofa for added sleeping space (linens provided for sleeper sofa located in the laundry room) and enough room for the entire family to gather together while "Making Memories" and spending precious time together! (Living room fireplace is not available for guest use) The dining table and bar offer seating for 17, as well as a toddler table for 6.. The chef in your life will absolutely LOVE cooking gourmet meals in the well-appointed kitchen, offering double wall ovens, as well as an electric cooktop and gas range, an under counter icemaker, large refrigerator, and a wet bar with a wine cooler for added convenience. You will also appreciate the 2 washers & dryers, 2 refrigerator drawers, and a coffee bar with multiple coffee machines (Keurig and Ninja).
Accommodating up to 25 guests, Bedroom #1 (aka Jellyfish) is located on the 1st floor, and is complete with three double bunk beds with 2 trundles (sleeping 8!), flat screen TV, ceiling fan, and a private bath with tub/shower combo. Bedroom #2 (aka Octopus) is located on the 1st floor, and is complete with a King bed and a Twin bed, flat screen TV, ceiling fan, balcony access, and a private bath with tub/shower combo. Bedroom #3 (aka Starfish) is located on the 2nd floor, and is complete with a Queen bed and a Twin bed with a Twin trundle, flat screen TV, ceiling fan, and a private bath with tub/shower combo. Bedroom #4 (aka Shark) is a Master Suite located on the 2nd floor, and is complete with a King bed and a Twin bed with a Twin trundle, flat screen TV, ceiling fan, walk-in closet, and a private bath with a walk-in shower, separate jetted tub and double vanity. Bedroom #5 (aka Seagull) is located on the 2nd floor, and is complete with a Queen bed and a Twin bed with a Twin trundle, flat screen TV, ceiling fan, and a private bath with tub/shower combo. For your convenience, on the 2nd floor you will discover a cozy second living area with a couch and chair, and desk/office space.
You will appreciate the outdoor storage area provided for guests to store their bikes or kayaks, and a second storage area to store smaller beach items. You will also appreciate the provided beach chairs and a beach wagon for your convenience. With so many amenities, "Making Memories" is the beach home that you will want to return to, over and over again! Come on down to Holden Beach and make some memories!

Outdoor amenities are generally available each year from April through October and include the swimming pool, grill, outdoor shower, outdoor furniture and umbrellas. Weather can sometimes affect the availability of outdoor amenities, so if your stay is between November 1st and April 30th, please check on their availability by calling Proactive Vacations. Pool heating is not available for this home. Pools are cleaned prior to arrival, and also cleaned mid-stay for 7 night rentals.
