Hosted by the Greater Holden Beach Merchant’s Association, thousands gather for the coastal arts and craft festival. This years festival is Saturday October 26th through Sunday October 27th.
The Festivities begin Saturday morning on the Holden Beach causeway for the annual Festival By The Sea parade. Local business strut their stuff, the marching band plays, and the fire trucks shine. The parade starts at the intersection of NC HWY 130 and Sabbath Home Rd and ends at the Holden Beach bridge.
Once the parade concludes head over the iconic high rise bridge for even more fun. This is the only day of the year you can walk across the bridge!
This year’s events includes a kids Halloween costume contest, a dunking booth and the women-less beauty pageant.
After visiting the 100+ art and craft vendors grab a funnel cake and enjoy the live music entertainment!
Parking and entry are free.
While you’re there stop by the PROACTIVE Vacations booth and say hi, we’d love to meet you!
