Starting May 8, 2020 Short Term Rentals Allowed At Holden Beach!
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]PROACTIVE Vacations will be updating this page as we have more information regarding COVID-19 and its direct impact on our community and guests to the Holden Beach, NC area. Important links where you can find additional information for both Brunswick County and North Carolina are also included below. We realize that this is a very difficult time for everyone including our property owners, our PROACTIVE team members, our guests, and our community. Information seems to change on almost a daily basis. Here at PROACTIVE, it has certainly impacted our daily work flow. We want to help as we work through this difficult period. We are still booking reservations for 2020.
For those who are concerned about their booked reservations for 2020, and that are directly impacted by COVID-19, we know, and we hear your concerns. Our top priority at this time is on those reservations booked thru May 8, 2020. For those reservations after May 8th, based on information we have right now, that those reservations will continue to be in effect. During this time, we have temporarily created more flexibility in our reservation policies as we work together on solutions. Our ultimate goal is for everyone to enjoy a wonderful vacation at Holden Beach.
During this time, we have created new cleaning procedures after each guest checks out. Through consultation with housekeeping experts, we have added some additional steps in addition to use of other cleaning products to provide peace of mind for our guests
On March 23, the town of Holden Beach issued a State of Emergency. The specifics of this action can be found here or on the link below. On March 27, additional restrictions were put in place this action can be found here. In essence, no properties are allowed to be rented during the period beginning March 28 and ending May 7, 2020. We will update this page as soon as we hear anything different than what is posted here.
In advance, we thank you for your patience. Higher call volumes and email correspondence are being experienced. Email correspondence is always the easiest and quickest response. Please do reach out to us with your concerns. We know that many are concerned in particular with regards to whether or not the beach is open for business. We also understand that the situation may be different in your geographical area. The short answer to this, if Holden Beach is open and allowing guests to rent properties, we are open to assist guests in booking the perfect vacation.
