Getting out on the water is a highlight of a Holden Beach stay for many of our guests. The team over at Tour H20 is more than happy to help you set up a kayak tour alongside a local guide while you’re in town. They also have pontoon boats to rent that are great for a day on the waves.
Who can I call for maintenance assistance during my stay in a second row rental on Holden Beach?

At PROACTIVE Vacations, we have a qualified maintenance team on hand to handle any issues that might arise during your stay. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. We also have emergency maintenance services available after hours until 10:00 pm for dire situations. To reach our maintenance team, you can call 910-842-1550 using option 2.

Here, swimming, boating, watersports, and sunbathing are all popular options that give travelers the opportunity to enjoy a vacation at their own scenic, and preferred pace.

Yes! If you’re excited to try surfing for the first time, booking lessons through the Carolina School of Surf is the way to go. They’re located on Ocean Boulevard and have four-day surf camps to gain comprehensive skills before hitting the waves in style. They also offer private lessons on Ocean Isle Beach as well as stand-up paddleboarding instruction upon request.
Is there a historical landmark I should add to my itinerary?

Holden Beach is a destination rich in history and if you have time to spare, it’s worth your while to explore Fort Caswell. Spanning 2,800 acres of terrain, this fort was designed to defend against naval attacks from iconic pirates like Blackbeard back in 1825. Today, it’s a retreat and convention center but there are options to simply tour the grounds too.
What time can I check into my second row rental on Holden Beach?

Our official check-in time at all of our vacation rentals is 4:00 pm. Early check-in times can be organized upon request for an added fee.
