A fully equipped galley kitchen and a stylish bar area complete the living space. Retreat to Bedroom 1, furnished with a king-sized bed, or opt for Bedroom 2, which offers a unique space-saving pyramid-style bed – a twin over a full-size mattress, complemented by a twin trundle. The shared Bathroom 2 serves both bedrooms, ensuring comfort and convenience for all guests.
The small community of Yaupon Beach, named for the holly plant that grows here in abundance, is the first community on Oak Island you come to as you cross from the G.V. Barbee Sr Bridge and includes the area from McGlamery Street on the eastern edge to the western boundary at NE and SE 79th Streets. The Yaupon Beach area is also home to the Oak Island Pier, two oceanfront restaurants and a commercial district, making it the ideal choice for visitors who want to find themselves in the middle of the action. During the summer, the beach adjoining the pier is a prime spot for beach volleyball matches, horseshoe tournaments, and an occasional landing spot for skydivers from the Cape Fear Regional Jetport.
