What We’ve Seen

As we began 2021, many questions were going through our minds about what kind of year it was going to be after 2020.  Bookings were a little slow in the first couple of weeks with everything that was going on post election and a surge in coronavirus cases.  As vaccines started to roll out and politics begin to settle, bookings started coming in.  Since mid January, bookings have continued to rise along with pricing. We are very pleased with the results that we have seen and believe that the booking trend will continue.

What We Know

Year over year, across the board, we are 156% in bookings and revenue.  In fact many of our properties have already surpassed the booking revenue for last year in its entirety and those numbers are still climbing.  Based on what we are seeing, there are a lot of last minute bookings being made for this spring and we believe that this trend will continue.  As we look towards the fall of the year, we are seeing some hesitancy/waning in bookings that we believe is due to the public school system still debating school openings.  We will continue to watch this phenomena, but do not believe there is reasons to cause alarm. We will keep you updated as our season progresses.  The good news is PROACTIVE is off to a stellar year in marketing and managing your property.
